After a recent infection which was caught by my anti-virus software and subsequently deleted while bypassing the restore function, I decided to follow up as usual with a free online scan at one of the big four using their tool. Nothing showed so I feel confident it has been eradicated.
Still, I wanted to ask if it is possible for either a Trojan, virus or other malware to hide from an off site scanner based on current capabilities.
i use to have a virus called W32.Myzor.Fk@yf but i don’t know if i still have it i tried spy bot s&d mcafee panda xoftspy ad aware and avg anti spyware and hijack this and spyware terminator but i realized that all of theese anti spyware or anti virus software don’t have W32.Myzor.Fk@yf in their database so im asking if any one can find and free online scan that is specially made to find this specific virus or if their is any free online scan that has W32.Myzor.Fk@yf in thier database?
